That rear light I ‘fixed’? I’m still working out the kinks. Last night it seemed to come on fine but went off somewhere on the journey home. Fortunately I had my helmet rear light as a backup and most of the journey was on the ring road cycle path in any case – my main concern was that the two working lights at the front weren’t powerful enough to compensate for the oncoming headlights of the cars on the road I was cycling alongside!

Tonight I managed to twist the plastic plug round a bit and the light stayed on and bright all the way home – just as well as it was a road based route with fairly heavy traffic. I think I need to consider the design a bit more but perhaps I can get an early start and finish tomorrow and then I’ve got a few days off to experiment.
