Results are in from my latest Open University Course, M811 Information Security. I’m pleased to announce that I’ve hit another merit although I have to admit that it wasn’t without a decent amount of toil and sweat. The course has three assignments, marked by the tutor, and then a final assessment which is externally marked. My first couple of assignments were passes but lower than I had been used to on previous courses. I hit a better run on my third one, which brought the average up, and then also batted a good one for the final assessment. Result: good enough to keep my run of merit results up. No pressure for the next one then!

Phew! Glad I pressed on, particularly since information security has been the key focus of my job since September, just before I started the course!
