Along with various bits of Christmas shopping, I ordered a new saw, which turned up yesterday:
FatMax Heavy Duty Saw
It has seven teeth per inch, each with three sharpened and hardened cutting edges. It still takes a certain amount of work but, having given it a bit of a try today, some of those thick logs I’ve got saved up look a little less daunting than they did previously.
