Jane and I enjoyed a lovely meal out tonight at the Coach and Horses in Chiselhampton. We’ve driven past it plenty of times but decided to take a trip out this evening with the pub as our destination.

It was a worthwhile venture, with excellent food (she had sea bass and I had hake) and service. If I was being picky, I might suggest they left us a bit too long at the end of the meal before we could pay up and ship out but, in some circumstances, that could be a recommendation in itself.

I understand it gets busier at weekends but it has definitely made it to places to keep in mind if I fancy an impromptu midweek trip out for a good meal.
