The clocks have changed and today definitely feels like spring. I’ve been out in the polytunnel this afternoon, potting up some Calendula officinalis (pot marigolds) that I sowed last autumn. No wonder they were looking so healthy – many of the plants had found holes in the bottom of their tray and were quite well established in the soil underneath!

I hope I haven’t done irreparable damage by uprooting them but they are now all in bigger, less crowded pots and it won’t be so long before I can risk putting them outside into their summer homes.
