We are not far off December. The days are shorter, wetter and colder. I am amazed through at the number of plants that are doggedly holding on. I don’t think we will have many more ripe tomatoes out of the polytunnel but I spotted that there is still a new bloom trying to form on one of the Echinacea purpurea plants at the front even as the rest are settling down for their winter slumber! Hurrah for the odd plant that hasn’t quite figured out what time of year it is!
