I did something very unusual today: I went clothes shopping. My lack of experience probably explains why the two stores I visited were an army surplus shop and a camping shop but I got what I needed. I now have a pair of green German police trousers with generous side pockets (Kindle on one side and Google Nexus on the other!) and another pair of walking trousers for work (moderately formal looking and quick to dry when I get soaked on a cycle in).

I know it isn’t entirely conventional but what did you expect?!
