Here is another of my photos from our trip to Lake Vrymnwy in April. The RSPB have set up a hide overlooking woodland and also keep a number of feeders well stocked up, which proves irresistible to the local birds. We enjoyed a close up view of a nuthatch and there were flocks of chaffinches but my best shot was probably this blue tit, in so close you can see the details of his feathers.

One of these days I would love to get the kind of photography set up that would let me get this “close” where there isn’t a convenient feeder station just a few feet away!
