With just a few days left on the Codlo kickstarter project, it is inching closer to reaching the funding required. This makes the week moderately tense for me (I really would like one of these devices) but doubtless much more so for the team behind it. I don’t know whether the normal curve of kickstarter funding is all in the first few days, evenly over the project or bunched up towards the end (unlike, say, eBay, there is no incentive to wait until the last minute but I guess some people might want to leave the decision as long as possible) so I haven’t got any grounds for knowing whether or not it will succeed.

This, of course, is highly ironic for a device which opens up techniques which, by allowing precise control of temperature, take a lot of the guesswork and tension out of the cooking process itself!
