Thumbs up for Status Graphite: yesterday’s string order turned up this morning!
This set is just a tiny bit heavier than the previous ones I was using but probably still count as light gauge in most bassists’ reckoning. I’ve gone for 110 – 90 – 70 – 50 – 35 – 20, whereas the previous set were 105 – 85 – 65 – 45 – 30 – 20 and I tune my bass from a low D up in fourths to a high Eb. A typical light-ish gauge set for a four string bass in standard tuning would be 100 – 80 – 60 – 40 so I should be coming in around that level of tension. I might need to tweak the truss rod a bit but otherwise it should be fairly straightforward.
