I was very impressed with myself yesterday. I managed to pop into a library with a handful of books and only come out with one. I certainly do my bit to keep the lending figures up but, with a slew of post-Christmas reading material, I need to slacken off a bit, certainly on the fiction, so that everything that finds a home on my own shelves has been been read and enjoyed rather than just taking up space.
