Normally I manage to time my cycle into work to avoid the worst of wind and rain but not this morning. I got lashed by wind, rain and hail, having to drop down a couple of gears and feeling like I was being whipped with icy chains. Brrr! I thought the Met Office website said that severe weather wasn’t expected here until Thursday and Friday.

I’ll look forward to that then!
