Today is the first Sunday of Advent and also the first rehearsal for the Christmas choir at St Clements. The four pieces suggested are all ones I am not familiar with and all have tricky twists and turns. I have done some preparatory practise but this afternoon will see if those pieces are confirmed or substituted. It will be hard work but should be fun; previous years have also been demanding but my skills are gradually improving.
