The weather feels almost autumnal this evening — cool enough to pull a long-sleeved top on over my T-shirt (although I then had to roll the sleeves up). Are we saying goodbye to the recent spate of good weather? I don’t know but, to be honest, I don’t mind. Cooling temperatures go with shortening days so I won’t complain if summer takes a few months of rest.
