You can only see the beak of the second one but I got to enjoy this pair of goldfinches on one of our garden birdfeeders earlier this week. I was washing up and preparing my lunch when I spotted that they had been bold enough to come to the feeder nearest the house. Even more amazing, they were still there after I had run upstairs, grabbed my camera and swapped round to my 70-300mm lens.
