This morning I have planted out some comfrey that I have been hardening off for the last few weeks. It is a pretty hardy plant and should throw down deep enough roots to ride out the winter and burst back in the spring. As a precaution though, I’ve kept the last couple of plants from that batch back to overwinter in the polytunnel.

Will that be my last planting out of the year? Probably…
