We did it! All but one of the plants (a Chaenomeles shrubs) that arrived on Friday have been planted in our gardens. We are tempted to see if we can squeeze in a couple more trees but will probably turn to other aspects of the design, like removing the ugly concrete path that bisects the back garden and setting out areas for vegetables.
