Whatever you want to call a six string instrument with the body of a banjo and the neck of a guitar (banjo guitar seems to be the preferred term on Wikipedia but even that site hasn’t quite made up its mind), I will be playing one at next Tuesday evening’s folk session at the Masons Arms in Headington. Along with Pete (of Peter and the Wulf fame!) and Martin I’ll be wheeling out some bluegrass favourites.
Fortunately Pete has lent me the guitjo so I’ve got a few days to practise with it and not sound like an absolute beginner!
