Most of yesterday’s listening was a new discovery for me – Musica Nuda. This Italian duet of Petra Magoni and Ferruccio Spinetti use double bass and voice to produce wonderful music, including excellent covers of many well-known tunes (I stumbled on them by looking for covers of Day Tripper). On Spotify, you will find a good number of their tracks by looking for Petra Magoni rather than the duet name.

Today’s listening is going to be last nights recording from the electric bass and sax duet I was working on and, on Sunday, you can come and listen to more of “Peter and the Wulf” and friends down at the Isis Tavern from 6.30pm – 9pm.
