Still catching up… I did not take many photographs in May but I was pleased with this image of a red kite, taken near Watlington at the edge of the Chilterns and so I will mark it as my favourite picture for the month. I took it with my 70-300mm lens, which is prone to purple fringing (chromatic aberration) when taking photos in bright light. Using the Hue / Saturation control in The Gimp, I was able to tone down the blues and magentas, minimising the problem.
