I am still using my hand-grinder frequently. At the moment, I’m working through a pack of roasted beans from Taylors of Harrogate and, to be honest, I find the taste a little overpowering. It is not that I have a problem with strong coffee (and this pack is only rated at 3/5) but the flavour is not quite what I am used to.

However, I have found a way to improve it; I simply add cold water! This does cool the drink down a little but I also find that the dilution mellows the flavour in a pleasing way. Next time I go shopping, I will look for some beans that I am more familiar with and will be interested to find out how a dash of water works there.
