Yesterday, Jane and I went with our friend John on the North Downs Challenge Walk. This is an annual ramble through the countryside to the north of Kemsing that raises money for the parish church.
This was our third year. For the previous two, I was training for walking 100 miles along the Camino de Santiago and we chose the 11 mile route. This time, with no plans for another summer pilgrimage, we opted for 5 miles instead although, with frequent stops for photography, it took us almost as long.
This morning I have posted the pictures I want to keep to my Flickr account – click on the church to see the set or you can look at all my pictures tagged with northdownschallenge to see my pictures from last year as well.
Tomorrow I will probably post some reflections on what I learnt about photography during the walk but, for now, enjoy the pictures, rough and ready as some of them are.
