When I set my wine glass down after lunch on Saturday, I noticed the way the alcohol in the drink affected the light passing through the glass. I decided this worthy of some photographic exploration (having been working hard all morning it was also a welcome way of extending the break!).
By the time I got back, I think more of the alcohol had evaporated off, so I didn’t get quite such interesting shadows, but I did get some pictures that present a contrast between the glass and the light passing through it, along with a ed highlight from the dregs at the bottom.
I will have to experiment further. Where is the corkscrew!
