It turned out that yesterday’s ‘Teeth gig at Carshalton Environmental Fair was solar powered. I was pleased about that; it would have seemed incongruous to have played at an event that was all about saving the planet while sucking up fuel and kicking out fumes through a traditional generator. That’s something positive to report back to my friends at the Selfsufficientish.com forum.

As far as the gig itself went, we only got to play three songs, although they all went very well. We are hosting another of our Upstairs open mic events at the Burn Bullock pub in Mitcham this Thursday (details on the band’s gigs page), when we will get a longer outing (as well as hopefully seeing plenty of guest contributors).
