The Elusive Teeth have undergone a few personnel changes recently. It had dropped back down to Peter, Dave and myself but now we’ve been joined by John, a drummer. Over the past few weeks, he’s been getting up to speed on some of our songs. He plays an electronic kit, so we’ve been able to proceed with low key rehearsals as before, and we’ve been making excellent progress.
The week before last, he did his debut at our regular Upstairs open mic in Mitcham. Since then, we’ve been adding a few more songs and are hoping to make an outing to Croydon Folk and Blues Club this Sunday evening (details on the band’s gigs page).
Anyway, the band is definitely rocking and, thanks to the magic of electronics, we’re still managing to do that without harming any eardrums! Bang a gong!
