I enjoyed last night’s Elusive Teeth rehearsal. I’d had a bit of a break since our last performance for the Upstairs event we host monthly at the Burn Bullock in Mitcham (see gig page for details), with one week being a general bit of “time off for good behaviour” and then last week seeing me suffering a headache that meant I had to call in sick.

However, everything seemed really fresh when I returned to it yesterday, particularly the songs the rest of the gang were working on last week – it’s amazing how much just one rehearsal can remould a song. It’s particularly fun working through the songs with Steve and Caroline and seeing how having percussion, flute and an extra voice can shape them. Anyway, I’ve got plenty of homework to be getting on with… another rehearsal and another batch of new ideas to play with!
