Just two songs from me today at the sing around – I only stayed for the first half as I had to get back to pick Jane up from the station. I took the double bass and, since I was invited to kick off the session, I went with I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free. In the key of G, it suits my voice and falls out of the bass with little effort, while being energising and positive. For my second go, I had another go at Ride On. I’ve got it working better on bass than I had it on ukulele although it is going to need another go or two to pin it down.
