The Malus Orange seemed to have settled at about 1.020 @ 16.5°C so I now have a couple of quarts bottled and a third partial quart (over half-way but with a bit too much headroom remaining) that I will drink over the next few days. It still seems fairly sweet but with a pleasant citrus zing and I am looking forward to seeing how that comes out after a 2-3 months in the cellar.

I have also now started monitoring the gravity of the Green Cider, currently sitting at 1.028 but with some sign of ongoing fermentation. I have left a small amount in a sample tube with my hydrometer, covered with clingfilm and kept next to the vat, so I can monitor the gravity over the next few days.
