A couple of years ago I mentioned that I had enjoyed reading The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. This week Jane rented the DVD from the library and I have to admit that I was sceptical about watching it, having heard several other people pan the movie.

Having seen it, I am happy to admit that I was wrong. I think the film version is an excellent adaptation of what, with the constant confusion of characters meeting at different points in their respective timelines, is a very challenging story to convey.
