Day 5 of the 7 Days project is the second one with a theme. Today it was “Me and My …”. I decided on me and my darning.

I have a different pair of socks for everyday of the week. I started a new set in January and managed to wear the first whole last week, walking miles round the Spanish city of A Coruña.

Therefore, out came the darning needle. It was also an excuse to try out the macro adaptors for my lensbaby – it was a challenge to use them and get some of me in the picture to qualify as a self portrait.
