Over the past few months I’ve accumulated quite a collection of old nails, pulled from pallets and other collected wood. Typically, they are a bit rusty and not quite factory fresh but, having discarded all the visibly bent and distorted ones, I’ve still got quite a few left.

This afternoon, I finally got round to sorting through them, applying a little bit of oil and filing away in appropriate slots in my storage box. I’d better start thinking of the next project to build using old nails as I’ve now got quite a lot of them!
