I wasn’t expecting it to rain this afternoon but it did, several times and quite heavily. That’s all good for the garden! I’m pleased that my water storage system seems to be working as expected. Having fiddled with it the other day, I am now getting a gentle trickle down to the water butt at the far end of the garden without having to intervene (although I’ll continue to keep that under review).

Hopefully my expectation that it won’t rain tonight will come off better as I’m just heading round to a friend’s garden!
