If all goes to plan, Jane and I should be off for a few days camping in September at a woodland site towards the southern edge of the Lake District. It shouldn’t be too cold and, hopefully, won’t be too wet. I’m just waiting for confirmation that my payment has gone through and then we can start work in earnest on drawing up an itinerary, including checks on which places we might visit still require bookings and which now allow you to turn up on spec.
