King of My Heart (video above) is a relatively recent worship song and the one we landed yesterday’s ASTAD worship team rehearsal on. I don’t think I’ve led with this song myself anywhere and I’ve not played it at this church before, although I was inspired to pick it by glancing through the list on the projection software, so not entirely unknown by this team.

It came together very well and I’m going to use our version of it in Sunday’s online service. Since I want that to be a premiere, I’ll wait until after then to put it out as a standalone video.

I will probably have more to post about the technicalities of the rehearsal but, for now, I’m praying that the sense of God’s presence in our worship that we experienced will come across as it is watched by the wider congregation – and be shared by them.
