I’m not sure how many Christmas dinners I’ll get this year but I enjoyed my first one today in an event organised at church. There’s a weekly club for older members of the community, which normally meets on Thursday but somebody called a General Election so, as the church hall is a polling station, their lunch had to be shifted to today… and I got in as a member of staff.
