I’m still getting a decent harvest of tomatoes (another 1.2kg of ‘Orange Rapture’ today) but I’m beginning to increasingly cut back the foliage. Fresh flowers probably aren’t going to turn to fruit in the remaining season and even small, green fruit are unlikely to ripen. Most critically, we’re getting into conditions where mould can quite quickly set in, so I want to maximise light and minimise congestion to make the most of the fruit that is on track for full ripening.
