Today’s subject on my Anatomy for Artists course at the Oxford Summer School was hands:

Well, and arms too. I was pleased with this one of the tutor, Anna Pike, where I managed to hold back from scribbling and capture a decent result with relatively minimal lines:

Both are done with water soluble graphite, although the effect is much more pronounced on the first one. See the whole set on Flickr, which will develop over the next few days and also includes some of Jane’s felting work.
