I started another homebrew today – Spring’s Arm, based on Graham Wheeler’s recipe for Camerons Strongarm. Tomorrow, once the wort has cooled overnight, I’ll get a chance to check the starting gravity reading and set it fermenting.
Meanwhile, I celebrated the new batch by sampling the previous one – Fly Me to the Moon. This is quite a thick, chewy beer but I’m pleased with how it has come out – decent carbonation and the Safale-S04 yeast sticks to the bottom of the bottle better than Nottingham seems to, making it easier to pour.
