Cycle tyres, certainly mine, don’t seem to hold their air forever. I’m not talking about the kind of catastrophic evacuation of air that leaves you with a full-on flat and either a roadside repair or a walk home but just a gradual softening.

However, given a decent pump, it isn’t too much work to pump them up again. I did it this morning before heading back to work and it reminded me again of the pleasure of a full complement of air to ride on – pneumatic delight!
