My plan today was to paint some irises, from a photo I took recently, using masking fluid to preserve the white of the flowers but, as you can see, I didn’t really finish:

The initial painting in the morning was okay but I had other things to do in the early evening and, by the time I got back to my studio area I realised there wasn’t time to paint, let it dry, peel off the masking fluid, take a photo, upload it and share.

Never mind… at least I was pleased with the pen sketch I did in preparation for the painting.
