Visiting RHS Rosemoor yesterday, I spotted a patch of Trilliums in an area we rarely visit:
It reminded me of our visit to Canada last year – Trilliums are the official flower of Ontario province, where we were staying, and they were just coming out in local woodlands towards the end of our stay. Given the trifold nature of both flowers and leaves, it was also an appropriate blossom to enjoy on May the third.
And today, obviously, May the fourth be with you! (Star Wars Day!)
