Easter means many things – often marvellous, wonderful and life-bringing things. It also means the end of Lent and whatever Lenten discipline you may have taken on. For some, that means their Easter egg, bunny or other sundry chocolate is their first for over a month. For me, it means I no longer have to diligently avoid screen time after 9:30pm so I can stay up and watch a film tonight.
However, I’ll try to keep some of the lessons in mind. It is productive to spend less time in front of the screen and it isn’t essential to have a final check on email and social media and, and, and when retiring to bed might be a more sensible choice. What was your Lenten discipline? Is it something you can carry an echo of into your regular routine?
