More Vinegar


Having been all about the wonders of vinegar last week, I have to confess I’m not so happy about the soured, vinegar taste of my 3B2 beer. I tried a bottle this weekend and it doesn’t taste great. I think I’ll be trying it in the slug pubs round my garden as the growing season gets going later this year.

Given that my beer always seems to be ready to bottle after a week, I am pondering just leaving the next batch for that time and taking a gravity sample as I come to bottle it, which could avoid a point where an infection might get into the brew.
