I’ve got a few photos to work through from my recent trip to Canada and I’m afraid the first one I’m posting is a little morbid:
At least it kept still enough for me to get a decent picture when I got sufficiently close with the 18-55mm lens I took! This was a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker, dead on a porch outside a farmhouse. We also saw plenty of live birds although most of my photos of those show them as small, dark blobs.
