I only had one song at church this morning where it took me a few bars to hit the right vocal key. That’s still one more than is ideal and it is despite having managed an extra hour of practise before I left home. I think one of the challenges is that there is a world of difference between home practise and public performance, and even between rehearsal before the service and in front of the congregation.

More work required, I think. Next up: leading for the Maundy Thursday service.
