Jane and I fell on our feet this week weatherwise. Having picked a few days in July to go camping, we chanced on the hottest days of the year so far. It probably would have been a little easier sleeping if it hadn’t been so hot even at night but we won’t complain – when we broke camp to head home this morning, everything was immediately clean and dry, ready to pack away.

And now, for a good night’s sleep in a proper bed!
