Lots of woodwork, harvesting from trees and processing the produce of earlier crops. This morning we were round at some friends and I was doing some high(ish) level lumberjacking, taking down another couple of soaring branches on an old pear tree that we are working on reducing to a more manageable size. When I got home, I had a bit more wood to shift to make room for the new stuff and ended up carrying on until mid-afternoon sawing and splitting logs. I suspect I may have some aches tomorrow although my wood stocks are nicely up and I’ve got material at every stage from freshly acquired to split and seasoned.
