Last weekend, prompted by an invitation to dinner with friends including sharing photos from the year, I finally got round to putting my photos from our trip to Brussels online. This is one of the most striking:
The Atomium is one of the most famous landmarks in the city, built for the 1958 World Fair. We only went under it on a tour bus but the glistening chrome — and fantastic weather — combined to create a glowing effect around the spheres.
