I read a long article recently recommending that musicians should tune to A=432Hz rather than the established standard of A=440Hz. It is quite interesting and I did like the sound of 432 tuning in some of the videos included. On the other hand, I can’t say that this is magically better than any other possible number; maybe I just like a slightly richer, deeper sound overall? After all, I am a bassist!

Probably the most important thing is to be tuned to the same reference pitch as the other musicians you are performing with so, for now, that is what I will stick to doing!
