This is the bit of the garden I was concentrating on this morning:

Quite a few of those are now cut down and, where suitable, split in two or three. Over the next month or two they will carry on drying out (hopefully at a faster rate with increased surface area) and then will shuffle round from the next storage area (the roof of which is visible at the bottom right of the photo) and into the racks just outside the back door.
